Morgan likes to lie on my bed in the mornings. Sometimes she'll curl up on my feet, sometimes she'll lie down next to me, and sometimes she'll stick her butt in my face:

When Windows 7 can't shut down because some program isn't responding, it turns the screen black and tells you what's not responding. I got one of these a few days ago...

Brilliant. Shut Down is preventing Windows from shutting down.

One of Handi's friends brought a little puppy over to her place. The puppy was that girl's first dog and it was only a few months old, so she didn't really know what she was doing. She asked Handi why her puppy would do this all the time:

Handi explained that the dog is just being cute and wants its belly rubbed. Her friend said that all this time, whenever the little puppy would roll onto its back like that, she would pick it up and flip it back over. Why? "Well, I had a turtle before..."

When I had just moved here, about once I month I'd get a coupon in the mail for Metropolitan Market, a local expensive organic blahblah grocery store. The first coupon was a free 16oz soup and the second one was 2 lbs of bananas or something. I was too lazy to redeem those, but I did take the third coupon to get a dozen free eggs, while buying nothing in the process.
I haven't gotten another coupon in the three months since.

I hate ATMs. I hate them because of the retarded fees they charge. I hate them because after they charge you retarded fees, your bank then proceeds to charge you yet more retarded fees. Argh.
I was at the courthouse today trying to get my name changed so I can finally be David. There is a $150 fee, but they don't take credit cards and I only had $120 cash on me. So I went to the ATM, run by a local credit union...
First, I pulled out my debit card from the credit union that I belong to, because there would be no fee for that transaction. But I had 77 cents left in that account...
Then I tried my Citibank card. Unauthorized transaction.
Then I tried my Bank of America card. It didn't ask me for a PIN, then it denied my transaction and told me invalid PIN.
Then I tried Chase. Unauthorized transaction.
Finally, I tried Bank of America again, it asked me for a PIN, and I finally got the $30 that I needed, while paying a 5% commission on that (plus whatever BofA decides to rape me for later... I got owned for $5 on a $20 withdrawal the last time I did this, years ago).
