So I had a random funny dream last night while I supposed to be reading that book. I wasn't going to post this, but Ronjon demanded that I do, so I will. So let me summarize the dream:
- I forgot the beginning.
- I'm going out with Kristen. (?!)
- Ronjon completely flips.
- Gene flips too, and says something like, "I thought I was next!"
I woke up immediately after this, laughing really hard. Then instead of reading Song of Solomon some more, I fell asleep again.
The cow costumes were fun. It was a little hot inside that thing, though. Everyone had fun with the utters... haha
Tomorrow is the math tournament. My mom's going to drive Marie there, too. Talking about the past three years of our lives is going to make for a fun little car trip.
Life was actually fun three years ago. Minus the fact that my dad was not too great to me, life was perfect compared to what it is now. Wasn't it great to whine about actually having six minutes of homework in a single night? What a ridiculous amount of work.

Can you say... government essay?
I've tried to read Song of Solomon every afternoon (except Monday) this week. So far, I've fallen asleep every afternoon and then looked up to find that it's 11:30. Then I end up staying awake way too late because I have loads of other homework.
Since I hate government essays I'll tell a story. Yesterday morning, we were in Barnesville or whatever you call it (where Gordon College is), and we went to McDonalds. So I ordered a chicken sandwich meal or something, and they asked me what drink I wanted. So I said tea. Then they charged me $1 more than the listed price, so you can guess what I did. Apparently the "drink" can only be coffee, so I said I don't want the drink. I paid the lady with a $5 bill, which she held on to. She then made me wait about 20 minutes, until everyone else had ordered.
Then she handed me 3 dollar bills and some coins. I just assumed that the other dollar and something would give me the meal minus a drink. Well, I waited and waited. I waited a few more minutes, during which time no one else was in line. She just stood there looking like a buffoon. Eventually, she asked, "What are you waiting for?" My food, you useless dolt! Then she got angry and told me she gave me a refund. So I got angry back at her and told her that $3.something refund for a $5 bill was not going to cut it. She argued with me for another few minutes. She even tried telling her coworker that I paid in exact change. Yes, that's really possible, considering that the only bills I had were $5 bills and the only coins I had were quarters.
Eventually I got my money back after threatening to blow her brains out with an electric flyswatter (well maybe I made up that part), and then I bought a $1 sandwich. Yujing asked me what was going on, and I mumbled, "Aaauugghh she's sooooo stupid!" She was already pretty angry by this point, and after hearing that, she shot back a loud "I am not stupid!"
I favor the complete extermination of annoying idiots. (umm except Ronjon I guess)
And I still have to do the econ card... AHHHH
Speaking of econ, here's Murphy's Law again. I've made a pretty large chunk in the stock simulation thing so far. Now, one of two things can occur (obviously): he can give bonus points or he can not give bonus points. If he gives bonus points, my stocks will swiftly and magically plummet at least enough to put me in the red and possibly give me the incredible embarrassment of losing more than the initial investment. If he does not give bonus points, however, then my stocks will continue growing. Rather than growing at a decent rate, they will most likely shoot ridiculously high and make me jump up and down in anger while whining about how making $4 million out of $100,000 doesn't get bonus points.
Also, let me make it clear that I'm not distributing any copies of Maple, so don't bother to ask for one.

I'm with you on the Song of Solomon thing...I can't help but fall asleep. I really don't think it's our fault; Toni Morrison should just stop sucking and write a decent book.
