On Wednesday, I went to the neighbors' house to do stuff with their computer. They asked me if I burn pictures to CDs, and I said no, I just leave them on my hard drive and hope they don't die. Then on Thursday, lightning hit pretty hard, and I joked about it frying my computer because it's never happened.

When I come home from frisbee, I decided I would write about how much I hated it. But nope, I didn't get to.

Initial damage estimates:

  1. One 60 GB, ATA133 hard drive
  2. 25 out 30 GB of installers I have (yes... that's rather damaging)
  3. >100 MB of Trillian logs dating back for more than two years (yes, sadly, I will no longer be able to pull out incriminating material about you... but really, this sucks because I like reading old things and thinking about the past)

No more Zhanga anythings until I get my computer back in working order. I still have to install around 25 programs that I use frequently.
