I
wandered into a room in my basement today and found this. My mom insisted that she got it for free
and didn't buy it. We also have at least two Bibles in Chinese, which people delivered here for
no reason. I think they were Jehovah's Witnesses.
I fell asleep after the test on The Jungle today, and the consequences of falling asleep behind Tricia include getting I (heart) Gene written on the back of my hand. Before that happened, Katherine was writing "Boys are my hobby" on my other hand, and I was in REM sleep. But she woke me up, and while she was writing on my hand, I suddenly jumped and reached for her pen. I failed, but it was funny to see her reaction.
I can't wait to get working on this electrochemistry homework.
During AP Euro, I kept falling asleep as usual. It's so annoying that I can't stay awake in that class no matter how hard I try. Honestly, I try to not fall asleep in there. Well, eventually the class got into this huge argument that kept me awake for over 15 minutes. Basically, Matt (Varley? is that to spell it?) said that as rich people, it is our responsibility to take care of poor people who can't afford stuff. His idea was to cut funding to NASA, which he quoted at $800 million (per year, presumably) and use this money to give all Americans health insurance. Now, his figure for total uninsured Americans was 42 million, which is true. Common sense tells us that $800M/42M < $20/person. This is obviously not enough to give anyone any kind of insurance. It's barely enough to keep them eating for a week, or maybe even two. I asked him at least four times how this amount of money will give anyone insurance, but he ignored me each time.
One day during lunch, I forgot to get my pass to the media center. So I ran in there a little late, after all the passes had been handed out. I asked if I could stay anyways, and the media center lady (uhh... Ms. Hirsekorn? spell check detects this as "Hereon") asks me what I will do for her. I said I'll keep Drew quiet. She went to some freshman girl, took her pass, and gave it to me.
Ms. Bryan scored 3 points today by doing a favor for Charles and Ronjon (and me) during lunch today. Well, if she knew it was for me too, she probably would not have done it.
