Based on results from the W3C MarkUp Validation Service, which I was having fun with today, my site's coding actually isn't too bad. I used it to clean up all my pages.
Then I ran the validator against some people's Xangas. Since Xanga pages generally don't have a default encoding or doctype, I chose windows-1252 (Western Europe) and HTML 4.01 Transitional (the settings that generate the fewest errors) for the test. Because my Xanga hasn't really been touched (and I haven't manually inserted any <tags> at all), those errors are probably present in everyone's Xanga. There's 165 of them. So I subtracted these from everyone's score.
| Xanga | Me | Tyson | Davita | Jennifer | Pat | Charles | KT | Dragos | Gene | Ronjon | Mary | Tricia | CiCi | Eva |
| HTML Errors | 165 | 186 | 190 | 192 | 193 | 202 | 211 | 230 | 234 | 235 | 236 | 251 | 262 | 265 |
| Adjusted | 0 | 21 | 25 | 27 | 28 | 37 | 46 | 65 | 69 | 70 | 71 | 86 | 97 | 100 |
Were you surprised at the ones who had the least? What about the most? hehe I won't say any more about this so I won't get hurt on Monday.
This party is going to be a blast until the Devil shows up, at which point I will leave. I'll have to leave at 11 regardless.

Yes, I am really bored today, because I don't want to do anything useful. I'm really tired from being so pissed off on Friday (the late paper) and the SAT II this morning.
It is now possible to use < and > in the comment box, because "not disclosing my name" and "i'm not naming myself because teachers read th" and "i'm still not naming myself" likes to use <> too much (were you trying to do a ><? maybe a >.<?). Because I still don't know any ASP, I had to use a really stupid solution to make < and > workable, and the solution I used is probably the most un-brilliant solution ever. I don't know what I did though, so I can't really explain it.
By the way "not disclosing my name" and "i'm not naming myself because teachers read th" and "i'm still not naming myself" doesn't really need to name herself because she sounds like herself in that comment box. Well, she does to me at least.
haha I like this:
Q: How do you tell an experienced hacker from a novice?
A: The latter thinks there's 1000 bytes in a kilobyte, while the former is sure there's 1024 meters
in a kilometer
I got back from taking the chem test. The stupid test lady read for 15 minutes the instructions to the stupid English Language Proficiency Test instead of SAT II, and so we all wasted a lot of time. She was also unable to hand out test booklets in sequence, making her even more of a total idiot.
